Beacon Hill Rovers First 2 - 5 Harold Hill Saturday First
Two goals for Thierry Henry in the home defeat.

Sudbury Sports FC Women 3 - 1 Beacon Hill Rovers Ladies
Mia White with the goal.

Hatfield Peveral 4 - 1 Beacon Hill U16s
We started brightly, playing some excellent football resulting in Zach thinking he'd scored from a slick passing move only to see the linesman's flag raised.

Hatfield scored from a punt upfield and despite playing some nice stuff, we went into the break one down.

We conceded a penalty early in the second but the lads stuck at it. Jake Cooper's clever header from Fin's free-kick got us back in the game. Ethan then finished off another slick move only for the linesman's flag to be raised again. This one was clearly wrong and the incensed players (and supporters) lost their heads. A red card was quickly followed by a goal for Hatfield and a further sin bin, leaving us with 9. A further goal meant the game ended 4-1 and a far more convincing scoreline than it should have been.

Valley Green Vipers 3 - 5 Beacon Hill U14s
Beacon Hill started the game off with a high-tempo pace and
soon found themselves 2 up courtesy of Owen Eddolls and a
fine strike by Archie Keeley with assists coming from Louie
Hunt and Alfie Murphy respectively. The visitors found
themselves 3 to the good at halftime, thanks to a poacher's
finish by Albert Gillespie, with another assist coming from Alfie
Murphy, to round off a fine first-half display.

Valley Green started the second half brightly and was
fortunate to get a lucky goal coming from a Beacon Hill
defensive error. Beacon Hill gathered together, restarted and
built the pressure back on the home team and soon scored
from a Callum Webb finish into the bottom left corner with the
assist coming from James Large. The home team then went on
the attacking front and scored a fortunate freekick to make the
score 2-4. Valley Green with newfound momentum capitalised
and pushed for a 3rd goal from another well-executed freekick into the top left corner. As the game entered
the last 10 minutes the pressure on the Beacon Hill goal
increased as Valley Green pushed for an equaliser to send this
game to extra time but were denied by a fine save from keeper
Josh Tovey. But, Beacon Hill wasn’t going to be denied the victory and extended their advantage when Alfie Murphy was fouled inside the penalty area. He duly stepped up
and made no mistake from the spot to make the final 3-5 to the
visitors.
